Pinkkis

Wild Elk Pendant
"Hi! I'm Raisa, and I make my crafts here in Helsinki, Finland, and send them all over the world. I basically make things that I would like to wear and use, and hope that others like them too. I especially love glitter, pink, and strange and unusual textures and fabrics. All my goods are vegan, so you don't have to worry about there being any animal products involved. I love to work with my hands, and I hope you enjoy my little creations!"

Women's Ivory Dragonfly Tee Original art of a detailed handpainted Dragonfly
"My name is Roza and I am originally from Kazakhstan ( yes this country does exist). Being born into a family of two artists, I was in love with everything creative. After finishing design school in Manhattan, New York, I was working in fashion industry for about 8 years. Now I am often traveling (which gives me endless inspiration) and producing the highest quality clothing made of the most supple luxurious materials and most flattering cuts, then adding unique art to them."

amberalexander

fox art, fox watercolor, Watercolor painting- reproduction- "Foxes and Ferns" print of watercolor painting
"I'm Amber, the woman behind the catchy, hip shop name, "amberalexander";) I live in Vermont in a very beautiful, but moody climate. Half of the year is pastoral and like a dream. The other half can be trying. The season changes are charming and interesting, but winter could stand to let up a little earlier than she does. I have always been an artist, and as a child, drew page after page of girls with different outfits on, and animals in clothes (inspired by Beatrix Potter of course). Later, I attended a liberal arts school with a major in Art and minor in Art History. Watercolors are my medium of choice. I love the way the flow of ideas from my head and heart flowed directly onto the paper. I recently had a children's book published with my illustrations. It was published by a Vermont Publisher, Radiant Hen, The book is entitled "Ninny Nu's Organic Farm" and all of the characters are animals. It tells a story about how bigger is not always necessarily better. :) http://www.radianthen.com/samples.php#ninnynu When I am not painting, packing orders or curating treasuries on Etsy (the closest I'll ever get to being a museum curator), I am entertaining and playing with my two nutty poodles, Olin and Izzy, and my sometimes nutty husband, John :) I like crossfit, running, gardening, art, food, wine, and funny people:) I hope you enjoy my work. I try to convey my love of animals and maybe inspire others to love them as I do :) I recently opened another shop for my landscapes/nature paintings. You can visit it here: Shadyrill.etsy.com"

ellie's treasure's

Horse felt brooch - hand sewn - galloping pony
"Hello! I'm Elaine and I hand sewn unique gifts for Ellie’s Treasures, based in rural Lincolnshire, Great Britain. A lot of time and care is put into every item I produce. Ideas are sketched out first, thought through and altered before the materials are chosen, hand cut and then sewn with embellishments being added as the new item comes together. I feel there is something very lovely about an item made by hand. May be it’s the notion that it’s unique and carefully finished, perhaps a little uneven in places, and always the knowledge that no two items will be exactly the same."

Magpie Jane

British Isles Cast Black Beeswax Primitive Very Detailed Ornament
"Magpies are always on the lookout for interesting or shiny, bright things to bring home to their nest...like me scouting out an estate or yard sale, keeping an eye open for the good thing that's hiding there. A good day will bring some old buttons and fabric, or a nice vintage item that seems like it could find a new home through my shop. I have a lot of nice molds for pouring beeswax, a big stack of black paper, some sharp scissors, and an excellent source for wool sweaters to felt and cut up. That sounds like enough to keep anyone busy. My husband and I have 4 daughters, 3 grown and out of the house, and a 18 year old senior in high school. I've been on the Gulf Coast of Texas long enough to almost feel like a native."

b d designs

sterling silver with natural amethyst and peridot . (( Secret Garden Ring )) .
"My work is an accumulation of years of study, experimentation, inspiration and the JOY of working with metal! All of my work is created using traditional metalsmithing techniques, commonly called fabrication. These are the same techniques that metalsmiths have been passing down from generation to generation for hundreds of years. It is a legacy of metalwork and I am very proud to be part of that history. I hope you enjoy viewing what I enjoyed creating! I add new pieces each week, so stop back often! On the personal side, I am a wife (of 19 years) and a mother of two wonderful children, ages 14 and 7. They are the inspiration behind my Mother's line of jewelry and a source of joy and inspiration every day of my life. Everything I do, I do for my family and each piece of jewelry I make, I make as if it were for my own family...so you get the very best from me each time you order from me! I live in the woods in Ohio, and I grew up in the woods of Pennsylvania, so a lot of what you see in my shop is nature-inspired as well! I learned about perennial gardening from my mother at an early age and my love of all things green and growing finds its' way into my work constantly! I feel that a lot of my designs grow organically out of that love of nature."

Small geometric birch house framework, 3D architectural line drawing
"As siblings, growing up we did everything together - from roadtrips to swim team to skipping school. And as adults, nothing has changed! 2of2 was was opened in honor of our late mother, Patty, who taught us that the wonder of childhood can stay with you in life if you let your imagination pave the way. Originally named Patty Dear, we changed our shop name to 2of2 because we have found again and again that it is the second draft of a design that we fall in love with (only fitting that it was the second name of our shop that stuck!) Pottery Mugs in Spring Colors - Set of Four Large Stoneware Coffee Mugs
"I can't stop making stuff. I make something almost everyday. I've dabbled in several media, but I've always had a special love for clay. It feels so good to create something from virtually nothing. A hunk of earth becomes a bowl or mug. Something beautiful but also useful. My process is relatively simple. Most of my work is made on a kick wheel. That's old fashioned foot powered goodness! Since I'm right handed I use my right foot to kick the wheel counter clockwise. Do I have one buff strong leg and one wimpy weak leg from this you might wonder? The answer is... not yet. My pottery is durable cone 5 stoneware meant to be used every day. This means I've fired it to about 2167 degrees F. HERE is my Facebook page. Become a fan for updates."

Light in the Trees - 8x8 Fine Art Photograph
"I'm a photographer. I recently moved to Lima, Peru but grew up in Florida. I love photography, the internet, design, art, and eating. :) My art is about light, simplicity, and warmth. I use a digital camera and natural lighting to photograph my personal surroundings and create calm, quiet, and often dark atmospheres. I'm interested in the shapes and textures created by light and shadow and I love taking pictures indoors using minimal sunlight. Photos of empty spaces and lone subjects feel the most personal to me and I like the intimacy they provide. I generally focus on the smaller details such as parts of bodies, leaving the rest of the scene to the imagination and allowing others to put themselves in the photo by keeping faces obscured. I'm always happy to receive emails, so please, feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or projects! :)"

Mylana

Cold Process Green Tea and Cucumber Soap
"I have been making all types of soap and candles for about 10 years and I started making jewelry and altered art in 2009. Additionally, I dabble in other crafts such as ceramics, painting, and formulating other bath and body items. My shop name is from the game World of Warcraft. I love fantasy literature and games. Mylana was the name of my first WOW character, a troll priestess. My shop is a one woman show. I design, create, pack, and ship everything by myself, except for one set of greeting cards that I designed digitally and have printed locally at BPP Printers in Murfreesboro, TN. If you have any questions about the process or materials used in my creations, please ask :) Most of my soaps are vegan, with my most popular recipe containing olive oil and coconut oil, for a simple, but luxurious soap. I also make soap from glycerin (melt and pour) bases. If there is something you want, but don't see in my shop, please contact me to see if I can make it. Ecclectic, bright, and unusual are the key words I would use to describe my shop. I love using interesting colors and texture. I try to use recycled materials for packaging and shipping. Most of my soaps are wrapped in cotton fabric, which is leftover from my neighbor's Etsy shop, NancyK4u, she makes pillow inserts and children's clothes and passes the extra fabric on to me. I use the fabric for wrapping or cut it into rustic ribbons. When I don't have recycled materials available for packaging, I enjoy designing my own decorative papers and cigar bands for wrapping my items. My other hobbies are cooking, walking, gardening, and World of Warcraft."

Binster Handmade jewelry

Rose Cut Garnet Ring - Sterling Silver Pattern Band - Custom created in your size
"Hi, And thank you for visiting Binster Handmade jewelry. A few years back I was introduced to the wonderful and colorful world of beads. Dealing with a variety of beautiful beads filled me with passion to create bold colorful pieces of jewelry. This was my first step into the multidisciplinary world of jewelry. Since then I earned my degree as a jeweler, certified for designing and making pieces of jewelry, mainly using silver and various other precious metals. As I have an in-depth knowledge of traditional jewelry and bead weaving I sometimes enjoy combing the two. My jewelry pieces vary from very basic classic pieces to fully designed lush bridal center pieces, And they will complement and enhance the beauty of any women living in our hectic world, as the pieces are easily worn and add a touch of finesse and color to any outfit. My Creations make me smile everyday all day long, I truly hope one of my Pieces will make you smile too :-)"

White Rabbit with Rainbow Garland, Miniature Sculpture, Happy and Colorful Gift, OOAK and Handmade by Murmur Fremo
"Oh. I just like animals. Happy little animals. Drawing them, making them, thinking about them. What would they be doing if they were walking around? Drinking tea? Eating biscuits with jam? Wielding sharp tools in threatening ways? Possibly. It's pretty disgusting. Sometimes I want to make dark, mean animals but unfortunately they don't come out that way. Sometimes serious, but usually happy and colorful. Oh well. Oh, and I have this thing for the Victorian era. The clothes are real cool."
